ECWA Peace College offers a rigorous and well-rounded secondary school curriculum that prepares students for success in WAEC, NECO, and other national examinations, as well as for admission into Nigeria’s leading tertiary institutions.
Our academic programme is structured to balance strong foundational knowledge with the development of critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Classes Offered
Junior Secondary School (JSS 1 – JSS 3)
Foundation years focusing on core subjects across the arts, sciences, and vocational areas.
Senior Secondary School (SS 1 – SS 3)
Specialised streams in Sciences, Arts, Commercial, and Technical subjects.
Examination Bodies
Our students are prepared to sit for examinations conducted by the following bodies:
1. West African Examinations Council (WAEC)
2. National Examinations Council (NECO)
3. Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB/UTME)
4. National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) — for technical students
Academic Calendar
The academic year at ECWA Peace College is divided into three terms in alignment with the Nigerian academic calendar:
First Term
September to December
Third Term
April to July
Second Term
January to April
Each term includes formative assessments (Continuous Assessment Tests — CATs), mid-term evaluations, and end-of-term examinations. Report cards are issued at the end of each term.
